Paga Crocodile Pond

Paga Crocodile Pond, just 44 kilometers outside Bolgatanga, is a sacred pond in the Upper East Region inhabited by West African crocodiles.

Due to the friendliness of the reptiles, the locals can entice them out of the pond with a live fowl and they also allow themselves to be touched and stroked by tourists.
